Display: Black frame
Medium: Watercolor
Two people crouch together on a long skateboard, moving through a glowing landscape of yellow, orange, and red. Their bodies are reduced to dark silhouettes, allowing them to become anyone. They could be friends, lovers, or two strangers briefly traveling in the same direction. Their exaggerated forms make the scene feel less like a literal memory and more like something imagined while staring out a window.
The shared skateboard represents connection, trust, and balance. Neither person is completely in control of the ride. Every movement affects the other, and they must lean together to keep moving forward. The four wheels keep them attached to the ground, while the dreamlike background makes it appear as though they are floating through another world.
Daydreaming on Four Wheels explores the way ordinary moments can become temporary escapes. Skating transforms into flying, the pavement disappears, and two people leave behind everything waiting for them outside the frame. For a moment, there is no destination and nothing to solve. There is only movement, imagination, and the quiet freedom of sharing a dream with someone else.
