Los Tres Birds is basically a tiny crime story about three birds who are complete idiots.

It starts with an old man trying to feed them. He is offering them bread because, logically, they are birds. But the birds are not interested in food. They want his money. So instead of accepting the bread, they rob him.

Once they have the cash, the three birds walk away together celebrating their successful robbery. They got exactly what they wanted and now they finally get to decide what to spend their stolen money on.

Naturally, they buy fried chicken.

That is where the joke gets a little darker. They robbed someone who was literally trying to feed them so they could take his money and use it to buy food anyway. Except the food they choose is another bird. They are basically celebrating their crime by eating their own kind.

There is not some massive philosophical meaning behind this one. I just love creating stupid characters and giving them completely unnecessary stories. But I do like that the joke keeps getting worse the longer you think about it. They could have eaten for free. Instead they committed a robbery, celebrated it, and became cannibals.

And somehow they still look incredibly proud of themselves.

Three birds. One robbery. One bucket of fried chicken. Absolutely no lessons learned.
